Lodestone Communications

Lodestone have helped the British Poultry Council (BPC) devise an integrated public affairs campaign that would consolidate and build the reputation of the BPC, enabling greater influence over trade and labour policy and helping to mitigate against the risks posed by Brexit. Lodestone designed a bold, emotive campaign that helped the BPC communicate to Parliament the safe, wholesome and nutritious benefits of poultry meat; the need for world-class animal welfare and production that respects the environment; as well as food that is affordable and available.

Our lobbying activity, which instigated a reframing of how political stakeholders from all sides perceived the sector, allied with our unique and deep understanding of the agricultural sector meant that our campaign’s success was confirmed when Environment Secretary, Michael Gove offered Government’s strongest commitment yet to flexibility on labour and supporting industry.

Lodestone and the BPC were jointly shortlised for Trade Body Campaign of the Year as part of the PRCA’s Public Affairs Awards 2018.
