The Lodestone team provides the secretariat services for the Parliamentary Internet, Communications and Technology Forum (PICTFOR) All-Party Parliamentary Group. PICTFOR is the largest and most active group of its kind. Membership includes 30 Parliamentarian officers from the Conservative Party, Labour, Lib Dems and the SNP with more than 100 different Parliamentarians attending at least one event in the past year. Sector members include membership groups, charities, universities, individual stakeholders and corporate members at all levels such as Google, techUK, the University of Greenwich and many others.
In the past two years, PICTFOR has hosted over 20 events with involvement from Security Minister Ben Wallace MP, former Culture Secretary Matt Hancock MP, Director General for Digital and Media Policy Matthew Gould, Chief Executive of Ofcom Sharon White, National Security Advisor Sir Mark Sedwill, Chief Secretary to the Treasury Liz Truss MP, Skills Minister Ann Milton MP, Chief Executive of the National Cyber Security Centre Ciaran Martin and many others. Organising an engaging events programme of 1-2 events each month on issues central to the tech sector, Lodestone has a deep understanding of the latest in tech policy and Parliamentary engagement.
