Lodestone has advised UPP, the UK’s leading provider of student accommodation infrastructure, in a growing but increasingly competitive market. Driving a clear strategic communications agenda, Lodestone has enabled UPP to make a step change in its policy impact and thought leadership. Lodestone has also supported the company through exciting financial milestones. Advising on its £1.8 billion (enterprise value) sale to current investors and to launch their debut £382.1 million public bond issuance. Lodestone also provided PR support to its new tranche of £149.7 million index linked senior secured notes under its investment grade programme in 2014.
Together, UPP and Lodestone have worked on multiple planning projects. Most recently UPP secured unanimous approval for its 1,200 student bedroom scheme for the University of London. Lodestone provided community consultation support, press office and political advice.
