The British Association of Shooting and Conservation (BASC) is the UK’s largest filed sports organisation with 156,000 members. On behalf of their members, BASC work with all parties for the future of safe, sustainable shooting.
Lodestone work with BASC to engage with Labour stakeholders, using our deep Labour routes and understanding of Labour messaging to craft a bespoke public affairs campaign which identifies key stakeholders and helps BASC to relay their core environmental message.
Lodestone supported BASC on their 2019 Birdbox Campaign, which saw Birdboxes donated to constituencies all over the UK, from rural areas to urban environments where conservation and biodiversity are vital. These areas included the constituency of Islington South and Finsbury, West Bromwich East, Torfaen, Lewisham Deptford and many more.
Our campaign has reached across Labour audiences from the Deputy Leader, to the Shadow DEFRA, Home Office, DCMS teams, Young Labour, parliamentary staffers, SERA and beyond. At Labour Party Conference, we designed a personal conference programme to ensure BASC high level engagement during conference and at their annual rural reception.
