At a time when the company was facing challenge, from NGOs, on its sustainability track record, we worked with Young’s Seafood to reframe the company’s purpose and establish the world’s leading ocean and fish sustainability CSR programme. The UK’s largest fish and seafood brand went on to be shortlisted for the European Business Award for the Environment, in recognition of its new purpose and CSR programme, with positive thought leadership coverage in the Guardian and in global media.

The transformation saw the company secure more support from consumers, with increased sales, and more support and constructive engagement with NGO, charity and environmental campaigning groups. Working closely with the in-house team we supported Young’s Seafood on corporate comms, thought leadership, financial comms, internal comms, crisis comms and reputation management.
