Leading B Corps Lodestone and HermeticaBlack join forces this B Corp month
Specialist decentralised energy company HermeticaBlack and strategic communications agency Lodestone Communications are delighted to announce a new programme of work to coincide with B Corp month in March.
HermeticaBlack and Lodestone are two of the leading B Corp organisations within their respective industries. HermeticaBlack’s recent certification means they are the first decentralised energy specialist to receive B Corp status, while in 2022 Lodestone became the UK’s first specialist public affairs agency to join the global community of businesses that meet B Corp’s high standards of social and environmental impact.
Now, the two are embarking on a programme of work that will use HermeticaBlack’s expertise delivering decentralised energy projects which reduce carbon emissions and energy usage, to help benefit policymaking and wider industry practice.
Chris Holmes, Managing Director at HermeticaBlack said: “We’re excited to start working with fellow B Corp Lodestone as we develop our public-facing offering.
“Our work as a strategic partner across an array of large-scale energy projects means we’re aware that effective decarbonisation requires smart, workable energy solutions that add value for both our clients and end users. We’re looking forward to working with the team at Lodestone to help ensure these learnings are of maximum benefit to the UK’s wider drive towards net zero.“
Ben Russell, Head of Lodestone’s Energy Unit said: “We’re thrilled to be working with HermeticaBlack, whose values and work align with our own commitment to supporting the decarbonisation of the energy sector.
“HermeticaBlack have an extraordinary depth of experience advising intensive energy users across the real estate, energy investment and local government sectors in the development of cleaner, more efficient energy systems. It’s a fantastic prospect for us to bring this expertise to a wider range of stakeholders.”
Catherine Draper, Strategic Engagement Manager at B Lab UK said: “It’s brilliant to see two B Corps coming together and collaborating. HermeticaBlack and Lodestone have been leaders in bringing about positive social and environmental change in their respective sectors, and we look forward to seeing the results of their work.
“The B Corp movement was started for just this reason — to ensure like-minded businesses could come together and address the most pressing challenges facing society today.”
