Lodestone, the UK’s first B Corp public affairs agency, to become majority female owned

July 3rd 2023

We are pleased to announce that co-founders Fran O'Leary and Martha Dalton have become majority shareholders in Lodestone - a move that invests in the long-term independence of the business. The Board remains un-changed and David Wild continues as Chair. Michael Murphy, ex Grayling chief and Stuart Warriner, ex PwC partner continue as Non-Executive Directors.

In the lead up to the general election, this renewal sets the business for growth - having grown 26% last year and on track for double digit growth again this year. Lodestone ranks 22 in PR Week’s UKTop150 Public Affairs table.

Following Lodestone becoming the UK’s first specialist public affairs consultancy to be B Corp Certified - part of a global community of businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental impact – this move will also mean Lodestone will be one of the UK’s largest female majority owned independent public affairs agencies.

Co-founder & Managing Director, Martha Dalton, named in PR Week’s Powerbook 2023 as an environmental champion said:

“We are excited for the future and how we can grow Lodestone to be the best purpose-led public affairs agency in the country. We have built this business together and are delighted we can continue to do that. With the election on the horizon, and the country sick of politics not working for them, we are ready to help our clients make real change for the benefit of the country.”
