Learning Disability Voices #SolveSleepIns

We led a purpose driven integrated campaign focussed on changing policy within Government for the benefit of social care workers and their clients. Our strategy was to amplify the voices of the families and the disabled adults receiving the care to highlight the human impact of a failed policy and to make the case for change. Our #SolveSleepIns campaign brought together an alliance of providers of social care around a unified message. Our campaign was discussed at PMQs, on National news, across social channels and our success was confirmed by the Court of Appeal’s ruling in our favour. Lodestone and the LDV were jointly shortlisted for Voluntary Sector Campaign of the Year as part of the PRCA’s Public Affairs Awards 2018.
