Lodestone supports The University of Manchester on its innovation agenda, highlighting the positive role of the institution on economic growth, linking back to the organisations purpose and mission. Promoting the work of the university to public affairs and media stakeholders, we also support Policy@Manchester, the function dedicated to increasing research engagement and impact. We support the university and academics on seeking to ensure stakeholders are aware of its world leading research on health, digital inequalities, the environment, and other areas.
Engaging with multiple internal stakeholders from different faculties we have trained academics on policy developments and engaging with policy makers. In addition to this, we have helped to secure speakers for events on their research, facilitated programmes of engagement with relevant stakeholders and media, reviewed briefing papers and reports and advised on engagement with different stakeholders and groups.
